Favorite DU moment
My favorite DU moment would have to be my first time going up to Winter Park with my friends for Winter Carnival. It was so much fun and my first time snowboarding! I probably fell like 20 times.
Media you recommend
Regular Show is one of my all time favorite shows. I’ve been watching it since I was 9, but even at 21, it never fails to make me laugh.
Favorite way to get involved on campus
My favorite way to get involved is to go to club events on campus. Additionally, my friends and I have a workout group where we go to the gym and workout classes together, which is super fun!
Favorite place to relax
I’ve recently discovered this super cute cafe on Broadway called The Bardo Coffee House; it has a nice atmosphere and YUMMY pastries! I especially enjoy going there to study at night when I have time to spare.
Favorite campus event to attend
My favorite Daniels event was Ethics Boot Camp. I enjoyed all of the workshops and fun activities we got to do, as well as the insightful lectures. I especially enjoyed hearing the personal stories from the different guest speakers.
One piece of advice that you would tell your first-year self
I would tell myself to embrace the uncertainties that come with starting college. You possibly cannot have your life perfectly planned out at 18. Take your time and try new things to help you figure out where you want to be.
