Favorite DU moment
Traveling to Dubai and India with my fellow REBE students and staff was unforgettable. I saw spectacular structures like the Burj Khalifa and Taj Mahal and was immersed in fascinating cultures. That was my first time abroad and I got to celebrate my 21st birthday in India!

I recommend Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. It’s a beautifully written coming-of-age story with a riveting murder mystery. Anyone that admires poetry and nature would adore this book.
Favorite way to get involved on campus
Volunteering at student-run service projects is my favorite way to get involved on campus. Being a member of the Daniels Ethics Fellowship not only gave me experience in running these events, but made me aware of the intentionality behind service, showing me how ethical leadership can create a lasting impact. I love supporting my peers with the heart and ambition to serve our community.
Favorite place to relax
I love spending time at Evergreen Lake. It’s a scenic escape from the city and the perfect spot to visit with friends for paddle boarding in the summer or ice skating in the winter.
Favorite campus event to attend
I really enjoyed attending the International Builders Show in Las Vegas, where I represented DU at the NAHB case competition. This year I had the honor of leading the first-ever majority female team. Not only did we compete with other universities, but it was also the first time we competed against our own DU graduate students. Beyond the competition, I explored the latest innovations and emerging trends shaping the future of homebuilding.
One piece of advice that you would tell your first-year self
Learn how to make conversation with all kinds of people—those of different ages, personalities and interests. Talk to people you admire and even those who intimidate you. This skill opens wonderful opportunities for friendship, careers and personal growth which will help you discover who you are and what you stand for. Don’t get caught up in saying the right thing because your authentic self will always make the right impression.
