Get to Know: Chaz Eaton
Congratulations to this week’s Daniels Student Spotlight, Chaz Eaton! In addition to his strong academic record as a Finance major and Accounting minor, Chaz has also served as a 4D peer mentor and as a leader in his fraternity.

What has been your favorite DU moment?
My favorite DU moment has to be winning the national championship last year, such a great day for the community.
What is a piece of media you’d recommend to other students?
Hivemind, it’s a hilarious music/improv podcast.
What is your favorite way to get involved on campus?
Last year, I was a 4D peer mentor, helping with orientation week and numerous trips to the Kennedy Mountain Campus. I thoroughly enjoyed this as a means to stay connected with the incoming students, establishing connections and helping new students acclimate to Denver.
What is your favorite place to relax?
DeBoer Park! It is just off campus past the STEM buildings. Such a great place to de-stress and relax, plus they have a basketball court that my friends and I play on from time to time.
What is your favorite campus event to attend?
I always enjoy attending the greek life philanthropy events. Whether it be sports tournaments, pageants, concerts or pop-up food stands, they are always a great time and contribute to great causes.
What is one piece of advice that you would tell your first-year self?
Try anything once! Denver has so many phenomenal opportunities for new experiences, so don’t be afraid to go out of your comfort zone.
