REIT performance will rise with economy, professor says

The real estate cycle has entered a strong growth phase in most U.S. markets, says Glenn Mueller, professor at the University of Denver and real estate investment strategist at Dividend Capital Group. As the economy expands and supply remains limited, REITs’ net operating income and funds from operations growth will continue to be strong for a few years, he says.
