What advice do you have for prospective students?

If you’re thinking of going to grad school, make sure it’s because you want to do it, not because others are telling you to do so.

What is your favorite thing about living in Denver?

My favorite thing about living in Denver is the view of the mountains, and that the weather is nice almost every day.

Why did you want to pursue a graduate business degree?

The competition is exceedingly becoming more challenging, and earning a master’s degree will expand my potential and help me go further in my career.

Is there a particular class at Daniels that really stands out?

I really enjoyed my classes on Ethical Leadership and Leading Self. It reminds me that our personal values have to be aligned with where we work, and the importance to not lose these values.

How did you get to know your classmates?

I met my classmates during a week-long orientation event called Daniels Launch. Our Management cohort also went on a four-day camping/hiking trip during the first week of the fall quarter. We all became close after that experience.

How have you evolved as a leader during your time at Daniels?

There are a lot of group projects in the Management program, which has helped me develop as a leader. I had to come out of my comfort zone and speak up. I also learned how to collaborate, which I think is an important characteristic of a leader.
