What advice do you have for prospective students?
Don’t wait until the last moment to submit your grad school application. Also, be sure to communicate with your professors about the challenges you’re facing. They want to help and be there to support you.
What is your favorite thing about living in Denver?
I love how Denver has covered both sides of the spectrum – quiet and happening at the same time. I live near campus and the area is fairly quiet, so I like to go downtown and enjoy the buzz it has. Denver really is the best of both worlds.
What were you looking for in a business school?
I was looking for the right combination of subjects where soft- and hard-skills were taught equally.
What surprised you the most about business school?
I was surprised by the amount of freedom given to graduate students to think out-of-the-box and come up with new ideas.
Is there a particular class at Daniels that really stands out?
I loved the Marketing Research and Analytics class within the Marketing department at Daniels. The class helped me to overcome my fear of technology and software, and ultimately, drove me to apply to the Business Analytics program at Daniels. Now I’m a dual-degree student and will graduate with a Master of Science in Marketing and Master of Science in Business Analytics.
Are you involved in any clubs or student groups outside of class?
I’m involved in the International Business Association, which is open to all Daniels graduate and undergraduate students who have an interest in international business. Our goal is to connect the Daniels community to international business and educational opportunities.
