What has surprised you the most about business school?
The incredible and continuous networking opportunities. High-caliber companies seek out Daniels students, and as a student at this University, I know that the school does everything it can to set its students up for success.
What is your favorite thing about living in Denver?
I love the quick accessibility from the city to the mountains. I love the hustle and bustle of the city, but having a way to escape to the outdoors so easily is one of my favorite things about Denver. I love attending concerts at Red Rocks. This gorgeous amphitheater is unlike any other concert venue, and is one that people travel to from near and far. To have this in our backyard is such a gift, and I definitely try to make the most of it!
Why did you want to pursue a graduate business degree?
With a background in the sciences, and knowing that I want to pursue a career on the business side of healthcare, I knew that furthering my education and gaining business exposure would make me a well-rounded professional.
Why did you choose Daniels for your graduate degree?
Having grown up in the Denver area, I knew that I wanted to return someday. Daniels gave me the opportunity to expand my network in the Denver area, and become a business professional in the city I know and love.
Is there a particular class or experience at Daniels that really stands out?
The Self Leadership class was one of most valuable classes I have taken at Daniels, as well as in my entire educational experience. The course provides insight into the inner workings of the self, as well as how to foster positive change in one’s own self and social interaction.
How has Daniels prepared you to be market-ready?
Daniels has given me the confidence to know that I’m capable of bringing real and meaningful change to a company.
