I chose to attend Daniels for many reasons. Daniels has a superb reputation as a top-ranked AACSB-accredited school. Having the Franklin L. Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management located within a business school is unique. Burns is the only program of its kind within the nation that takes a holistic approach by focusing on the full cycle of real estate and the built environment. The Bailey Program for Family Enterprise is a unique cutting-edge program for family business and family office education. The faculty at Daniels are superb, with experience in the industry. Daniels focuses on students gaining applicable skills and credentials for the industry. Daniels focuses on integrated project delivery and collaboration. Denver is in a great location in the Rocky Mountains, integrating an urban environment and the wilderness.
Before coming to Daniels, I have served in various positions with Montana Heritage Home Builders, Inc. (MHHB), my family–owned and operated luxury high-performance custom design-build home building firm. My current position with MHHB is senior vice president of sales and marketing and project manager. MHHB is based in Columbia Falls, Montana, serving northwest Montana. I also have experience working in politics, for example, serving as Flathead County deputy field director for a United States House of Representatives candidate.
I have many goals for after I graduate! Immediately after I graduate, some of my goals are to continue to work at MHHB as senior vice president of sales and marketing and senior design-build project manager. My goal is to gain more project management and operational responsibilities. I also intend to launch a marketing agency. I plan to serve within the Flathead Building Association, Montana Building Industry Association and the National Association of Home Builders. In the future, I intend to run for political office.
I enjoy doing many things in the outdoors! My hobbies include golfing, hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, reading, catching up on TV shows and movies and playing chess. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and pets! You will often catch me attending our school’s sporting events.
