Denver MBA (Full-time) ’22

Hometown: Boston, Massachusetts

Previous Education

BA in Economics and Environmental Policy, Colby College

Why did you choose Daniels?

I chose Daniels because the Denver MBA’s challenge-based learning curriculum is an excellent way to get hands-on experience solving business challenges across multiple industries. Going into Daniels, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to stay in the energy space or pivot into a new industry, and the Daniels experience and curriculum offers an excellent opportunity to try new things. I also knew that I wanted to be in Colorado and as the best MBA program around, Daniels was an easy choice.

Pre-grad school experience

I started off working in supply-chain sustainability at EMC Corp. before transitioning to the alternative/renewable energy space at EnerNOC and eventually Enel NA (post-acquisition). At EnerNOC/Enel, I spent five years working in regulatory affairs and energy policy, eventually managing Enel NA’s regulatory affairs activity across the midwest region. It was an exciting and rewarding job in a rapidly changing industry.

Post-grad school goal

My goal is to transition into the consulting space while pursuing interests in social and environmental entrepreneurship.

I like to run, read, hike, ski, visit breweries, hang with friends and go to music shows.
