Email me with questions about The Denver MBA or the MS in real estate and the built environment.
My goal was to stay in Denver and Daniels has a fantastic reputation in this area. Between the vast alumni network and access to local business leaders, Daniels makes it very easy to build a network. The University of Denver also offers incredible benefits to veterans like me through the G.I. Bill Yellow Ribbon Program. This program allows veterans to use their education benefits to cover tuition costs and books for the program.
BA in Political Science from the University of South Carolina
After undergrad, I commissioned as an Officer in the U.S. Air Force and went through flight training. I spent 7.5 years flying the B-1 Bomber as a Weapons Systems Officer in the world famous 34th Bomb Squadron. During that time, I flew several hundred hours in combat in support of Operations Freedom Sentinel and Inherent Resolve. I loved the Air Force and am very proud of my service but decided that I was ready for a change of lifestyle.
I had a fantastic experience this summer during my internship and am looking forward to continuing to work in the real estate finance industry. I’m thankful that I was able to secure a role for when I graduate next year. Daniels faculty and staff gave me a great deal of help in finding and applying for my internship in addition to connecting me with alumni that had experience with the company I chose.
My favorite place to be is in the mountains. Skiing, snowboarding, camping, backpacking or fly fishing depending on the season. I’ve always believed that an escape to the mountains can cure whatever ails you.
