If you could tell your past-self one thing before you started grad school, what would it be?
I shouldn’t have waited this long to pursue a graduate degree.
What advice do you have for prospective students?
Study, enjoy the Colorado seasons, relax and don’t be too hard on yourself when things get tough.
What is your favorite thing about living in Denver?
I like the open and welcoming nature of the Denver natives – it really is the best of both worlds from the east and west coasts. I enjoy exploring the art districts and breweries downtown or just cruising along mountain roads enjoying every hairpin turn.
Why did you want to pursue a graduate business degree?
I wanted to expand my knowledge of analytics. I worked in the financial industry for 10 years, and I realized there’s no better time to acquire new analytical skills to have the competitive edge in the job market.
Why did you choose Daniels for your graduate degree?
I chose Daniels because of the wealth of knowledge in the faculty and the strong alumni network.
Tell us about the Daniels classroom experience.
I am truly amazed by the wealth of knowledge and industry experience taught within the Daniels classroom. A typical class at Daniels is made up of a small group of students, so you receive more personalized attention from the professor. I got to know my classmates through group projects, class discussions and other social activities.
