Why did you choose Daniels?

I chose Daniels because I had spent the first 21 years of my life in Florida, and knew I wanted to make a big change for grad school! When researching different MAcc programs, I was very impressed by both the CPA pass rates of Daniels students and the expertise that each professor brought to their respective subjects.

Previous Education

B.S. in Accounting, Florida Southern College

Pre-grad school experience

During my undergraduate collegiate years, I was the financial vice president of my sorority and treasurer of (as well as a performer in!) Florida Southern College’s improvisational comedy group, Studio Box. During my final semester, I was also the service activity coordinator for our school’s chapter of Beta Alpha Psi. On the internship side, I completed a year-long tax internship during 2021 with a local CPA firm near my college, and when I moved to Denver in January 2022, I also was an audit intern at RubinBrown for the winter.

Post-grad school goal

My biggest current and post-grad goal is to pass all 4 parts of the Certified Public Accountant exam!

Hobbies

I love the whole process of finding an interesting recipe and challenging myself to try making something new! Results vary, haha, but cooking is a major stress reliever for me. I also enjoy hiking and finding killer deals while thrifting. I’m a big movie/TV buff so I’m always taking suggestions of what should be the next thing I watch!
