What surprised you the most about business school?

I was most surprised by the relationships you build while there. I still keep in touch with many of my colleagues and was surprised by the diversity of where everyone was working.

What is your favorite thing about living in Denver?

I moved back to Denver because it has so many different things to offer. It has unbelievable weather and proximity to outdoor activities while still having a diverse job market. I spend most weekends either hiking or skiing depending on the season.

What were you looking for in a business school?

I wanted to build out my financial literacy skills and get a better understanding of economics and accounting. I tried to focus on accounting and real estate classes to help with my transition into the industry.

Why did you choose Daniels for your graduate degree?

I chose Daniels because of its reputation and flexibility in allowing me to go to school at night while still working in the city.

How did you get to know your classmates?

Due to the amount of group projects, we all had the opportunity to work with each other in a number of different classes. Most weekends were spent with each other working on different projects.

If you participated in a global trip with Daniels, tell us the most memorable part of that experience.

The meetings with the different businesses that Daniels organized. We had the opportunity to speak with some of Lisbon’s most interesting companies while there. My favorite meeting was with Portugal’s largest utility company.
