The Daniels Graduate Admissions team hit the road recently–heading to far away places including Brazil, India, Peru, Ecuador and Costa Rica. They’re meeting with Daniels alumni and working to recruit students for fall 2017.
Camila Angelim, graduate admissions manager, is currently in Rio, Brazil, and she met with Daniels alumni Antonio Eloy and Eduardo Domigues. She wrote to Daniels International Alumni Relations, which put her in touch with both Eloy and Domigues, to describe their visit: “What a pleasure it was to meet with Antonio Eloy and Eduardo Domingues this morning in Rio. Antonio graduated from DU around 1996 and Eduardo graduated all the way back in 1968; he even showed me a picture of him traveling with his bike over at Loveland Pass back in the 60s. We had a great time talking about their experiences at DU, what they do nowadays here in Rio and how they can help spread the word about Daniels. Antonio told me that back in the day DU was called the ‘Harvard of the West’… Again, thank you for reaching out to them in the first place; it was incredible to speak with people that have been part of DU’s history.”
