Daniels Graduate Business Student Association (GBSA)

We are the voice for the Daniels College of Business graduate students, and with the University of Denver, we build and foster meaningful, memorable, and successful experiences for our community. We enhance the Daniels experience through educational, social, community and cultural activities. The GBSA hosts two signature events- a winter wine tasting and the spring gala. Every year, GBSA helps support the annual Race & Case competition, one of the country’s premier business ethics case competitions.

Daniels Consulting Firm (DCF)

The Daniels Consulting Firm (DCF) is a student-created, student-led consulting firm that draws talent from all Daniels College of Business disciplines. DCF consultants are trained in Daniels’ core strengths: ethics in business, sustainable development, internationalization, entrepreneurship. Student consultants are selected through a rigorous recruitment process to ensure only the most competent, professional, and committed students are placed on consulting projects. DCF requires exceptional work standards from our student consultants. DCF skill sets include technical financial expertise to achieve profitability, strategies to strengthen core business operations, risk management, business intelligence, real estate development, market research, and marketing strategy and implementation. Daniels Business Intelligence & Analytics Association (DBIAA)

The University of Denver, Daniels BIA Association, Student Chapter of INFORMS, works to build a community extending beyond academic study to build supportive friendships and alumni connections that strengthen professional success and personal fulfillment. The association hosts quarterly socials and key academic events to engage all MS BA students early in their program with others in the club. The club is inclusive of BA undergraduates and BIA enthusiasts enrolled in other graduate programs. The University of Denver Finance Club

Members of the club not only share a commitment towards developing the Daniels College of Business’ finance infrastructure, but ultimately, they are driven to see Daniels among the elite institutions in the world; a place they feel it rightfully should be. Net Impact

Net Impact is an international organization of more than 20,000 young business professionals across 300 national chapters committed to using the power of business to improve the world. The Daniels Chapter of Net Impact links the strengths from the various graduate business programs around DU to practical, real world applications. This is achieved through facilitated learning activities, industry networking opportunities and Impact consulting projects. We prepare our members for careers that will make a difference and have been supported by a large number of local Colorado for-impact businesses. Net Impact members include current and emerging leaders in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Social Entrepreneurship, Nonprofit Management, International Development, and Environmental Sustainability. RECM Club – Real Estate and Construction Management Network

The RECM Club was organized to enhance relationships between DU RECM students and Denver’s professional real estate and construction community. Membership in the RECM Club is open to all DCB students. The club provides opportunities outside the classroom that allow students to bridge the gap between the academic and real estate and construction communities. They do this by facilitating various networking and mentorship opportunities, providing opportunities for students to develop relationships with industry professionals, while creating experiences for students to gain first-hand knowledge of the real estate and construction professions.

University of Denver Healthcare Careers Club (HCC)
The University of Denver, Daniels College of Business, HealthCare Club (HCC) was founded just this year to facilitate collaboration, education, networking, and shared learning between you and the health care industry. Did you know that according to Metro Denver that the health care industry is one of the fastest growing in the Denver area, recording 9.5 percent job growth in 2011, compared to 1.7 percent growth nationally? “With a $7.5 billion annual payroll, the healthcare and wellness industry has a compelling economic impact within Metro Denver.” Further, according to Business Week, healthcare reform will “push spending on medical services to almost 20 percent of U.S. gross domestic product by 2021.” Whether you are interested in business intelligence, consulting, finance, IT, international studies, management, marketing, or any other concentration, the health care industry offers careers catered towards your interest(s).
