Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Daniels College of Business. There will be a short walk beginning at noon to the lunch location.

Student Connects Fair

The Student Connects Fair will give you a jump start on your fall planning, before you arrive for your first day of class. You can meet with housing representatives, get to know Daniels and University graduate student groups, connect with student support offices on campus, and much more!

Campus Tour With Graduate Admissions Advisors

Explore the University of Denver’s beautiful campus and learn about campus facilities, student life and the culture on campus.

Student and faculty panel and reception

Daniels’ small class sizes mean you get highly personalized instruction and direct access to our expert faculty. For savvy students, this benefit can extend beyond the classroom. In this panel, you’ll hear from current students and faculty on how they partner on projects and independent studies to further enhance the graduate student experience. The panel will be moderated by Berta Nicknish, director of Graduate Student Services. A reception will be held afterward.

Saturday, April 20

10:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Storytelling workshop

Learn how to nail the answer to the age-old question, “Tell me about yourself.” Whether it’s a formal interview or informal networking, being able to tell a concise story about yourself that makes sense is critical to getting to where you want to go. This interactive workshop will quickly teach you how to crush the answer to that all-important first question. Bob Kumagai, Daniels’ executive director of career services, will lead the session. Lunch will be provided after the workshop.

Become an effective team leader

Take the first step toward building strong bonds with future Daniels students. This will be an opportunity for you to engage with classmates across programs and improve your ability to work in groups. The lessons you take from this session will help you throughout your graduate student career, and long after.

Grow Your Network

Continue building relationships with your classmates as you team up for fun offsite activities. You’ll take a shuttle to an escape room near campus and relax afterward in a nearby beer garden.

We hope to see you soon.
