Biography at a Glance

Mr. Thomas Curran is a native of Portage, Wisconsin, and attended the University of Denver from 2001 to 2006 graduating with a BSBA in Finance and an MBA with a finance concentration.

Upon graduation in 2006, he joined Bank of the West in Denver as a Credit Analyst with the bank’s National Banking Division; a division focused on middle market lending. He specialized in oil and gas exploration and production lending working on many recapitalizations and mergers and acquisitions within the intermountain west.

Thomas left the banking industry in 2011 to focus solely on the energy industry and is currently employed as the North American Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis with Strad Energy Services (TSX: SDY), a leading provider of energy services and solutions to various sectors of the North American oil and gas industry. He focuses on budget/forecasting, strategic planning, and M&A analysis for Strad’s five product lines deployed in the major shale plays across the United States and Canada.  Since August of 2016, he has helped Strad complete 4 acquisitions and a bought deal equity financing.

He resides in Littleton, Colorado with his wife Liz and young son.
