Why did you choose Daniels?
I choose Daniels because of the challenge curriculum and small cohort size. As someone looking to make a transition to the private sector, I wanted to gain as much hands-on, real-world experience during an MBA program as possible and really get to know my professors and learn from them!
Previous Education
BA in Political Science & Communications Studies from American University in Washington DC
Pre-Grad School Experience
Before Daniels, I put my poli-sci degree to work and was a political fundraiser for Democratic congressional candidates in Illinois. I then pivoted to work at a STEM education nonprofit where I coordinated volunteers and planned virtual programming for students and science teachers during the pandemic.
Post Grad School Goal
Post-MBA, I’m looking to either work in ESG or in a management/budgeting role for a company that places sustainability at the forefront of its mission.
Hobbies
When not doing schoolwork, I like to spend my time hiking (much more accessible in Colorado than Illinois!), reading, crafting, watching the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and cheering on the Chicago Bears.
