Biography at a Glance

Maggie (BSBA 2005) has worked with individuals, people in business and families for many years. Her approach has always been comprehensive, as she takes into consideration her clients’ entire financial condition including: taxes, insurance, estate planning, investments, retirement planning, and cash flow.

Maggie operates under two guiding principles. First, develop a personal and high-quality service model for my clients. Second, be independent so suitable approaches may be offered.

She feels very fortunate to have the ability to have an impact on the lives of her clients.  Maggie strives to not only make a difference, but also to create lasting relationships where she is the trusted advisor for all of life’s events. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER practitioner, she provides a holistic approach for making quality financial choices for each client. The CFP certification is the recognized standard of excellence for financial planning.

It is important to Maggie that she is active in the community and helps others. Maggie is a member of the Financial Planning Association where she participates in financial literacy campaigns including Junior Achievement, Money Smart Week, Denver Financial Planning Day, and she speaks to many different companies about financial planning. She is a published author and has been quoted in several articles that cover the scope of financial planning. She is a judge for InvestWrite which is an innovative national writing competition program that aims to increase the financial literacy of our youth, a board member for the Girls on the Run organization, and a member of the Women’s Estate Planning Council. Maggie is a proud graduate of the University of Denver, where she was a Division I athlete and continues to give back to my alma mater by serving on the Student Development Committee and as the chair of the Daniels Alumni Advisory Board. Maggie continued her academic career in the Accelerated MBA Program at The University of Colorado at Denver.

Maggie now lives in Golden and enjoys running, soccer, skiing, gardening and anything that gets her outside.  She looks forward to being a resource for Daniels students and hopes to make a difference in your lives one day.
