Why did you choose Daniels?

When looking at business schools, I strongly desired two things: I wanted a program that prioritizes a smaller cohort so I would be valued as a person and not a number, and I wanted a school with an extensive alumni network that I could leverage in my transition into the civilian sector. My little sister earned her undergrad from Daniels and could not say enough good things about her experience. Additionally, the school is highly respected for its focus on business ethics, a fantastic veteran support system, and its participation in the Yellow Ribbon Program.

Previous Education

BS Marine and Environmental Science, U.S. Coast Guard Academy

Pre-Grad School Experience

 I served eight years as an active-duty officer in the U.S. Coast Guard with tours ranging from shipboard drug interdiction to search and rescue and disaster response. I separated to explore other career options. I have since worked as a medical assistant, physical therapy aide and stretch therapist.

Post Grad School Goal

I came to Daniels to refine and expand upon my skillset while I continue searching for my next career. At this early stage in the MBA program, I am keeping my mind open and do not yet have a solidified trajectory. I am excited to see where this journey takes me!

Hobbies

I absolutely love going to metal concerts and I am glad Denver attracts so many amazing touring bands on top of having a phenomenal local scene. I am also a visual artist who loves creating highly detailed pieces that require a viewer to stare long and hard to find all the subtle aesthetic treats.
