Biography at a glance

Jessi Kalambayi is a program manager at the Fritz Knoebel School of Hospitality, with 2 years working in nonprofit and 1.5 years in refugee resettlement helping refugees and immigrants with getting to self-sufficiency. With her multicultural background, Jessi uses that experience to connect with the vulnerable communities in the resettlement journey in the United States.

Through this experience, Jessi has transitioned to the program manager role for the Ready for American Hospitality Program. The Fritz Knoebel partnership with the Ethiopian Community Development Council’s African Community Center, a refugee resettlement agency, represents one of the most important and powerful educational frameworks to enable effective learning experiences for responsible leadership
