Why did you choose Daniels?

I was intrigued by the diverse teaching methods that have real-world applications; namely, the Entrepreneurship Challenge really piqued my interest. Also, I had always wanted to move to Denver and had even applied to the University of Denver for my undergraduate degree but ended up going to another school. When I deferred for a year due to the pandemic, the team at Daniels was very understanding and offered their resources to me even before the actual program began. I can confidently say Daniels was and is the right choice for me.

Previous Education

Bachelor of Arts in German, minor in Music Performance, Denison University

Pre-Grad School Experience

I’ve had a multitude of jobs. Right out of college I received a Fulbright Scholarship to teach English in Austria for two years. After that, I moved back home to Austin, Texas, and worked as a cello teacher, then as German Tech Support for Guild Wars 2, then at a barbecue food truck and most recently with Accenture, contracted with Facebook.

Post Grad School Goal

Daniels is providing me with the resources I need to achieve my post-graduate school goals. I would like to open my own business someday and be my own boss in the distant future.  At the moment I’m not exactly sure where I will land but I want to work for a company that treats their employees respectfully and is environmentally and ethically responsible.

Hobbies

In my free time I love playing guitar, mountain biking, hiking, hitting up a local brewery and watching/attending soccer matches. Vamos ATX!
