Why did you choose Daniels?

During my search for a graduate education, I was adamant about finding a program that allowed me to engage both inside and outside the classroom. With Daniels’ small class sizes, unique curriculum and bountiful opportunities, the level at which I am able to participate in the Daniels community is unparalleled.

Previous Education

This spring I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Science & Information Technology Infrastructure, with a double minor in Management and Computer Science. Additionally, during the Summer of 2020 I completed the Business Bridge Program through the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

Pre-Grad School Experience

While at the University of Minnesota I interned at a local boutique investment bank within their Data & Technology group where I was responsible for multiple automation- and integration-focused deliverables. During my senior year at the University of Minnesota I wore many hats at our student-run asset management business. Specifically, I provided coverage for the TMT Sector as an equity research analyst and led the development of a new student-managed fund.

Post Grad School Goal

Upon graduating from Daniels this spring, I am eager to explore the opportunities ahead of me. Despite having been at Daniels for such a short time, my time here has been immensely influential as it opened every door imaginable. From the world’s largest asset managers to local funds in the Denver area, I am confident in my ability to find the career of my dreams with the remarkable support and mentorship from Daniels.

When I’m not in front of a computer screen or in a meeting I try to spend as much time outside as possible. During the winter months I enjoy getting into the mountains and downhill skiing at the local resorts and backcountry destinations. When the weather is a bit nicer, I enjoy riding my bikes and spending time on the river fly-fishing.
