I believe that an MBA is an essential step at this stage of my career. The EMBA’s focus on ethical leadership, business, finance and marketing would provide me with the necessary tools to move my career forward. In addition, Daniels’ extensive alumni network would give me opportunities to seek mentorship and advice as I embark on this new journey. All of this is amplified by the continued growth of the Denver area as a hub for startups and biotech companies.

PhD in molecular biology and neuroscience from Strasbourg University

I’m the associate director of outreach and business development at the Science Communication Lab, where I develop and execute marketing and dissemination strategies to distribute our content and encourage its widespread use. Along with that, I design and implement growth opportunities for engagements with new clients. Before that, I worked for more than ten years as a neuroscientist at the Institute of Molecular and Structural Biology, France, and the Buck Institute for Research on Aging in California. My research on Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s has been published in several scientific journals such as Cell ReportsNature and PNAS, and it has been presented at international scientific conferences.

With my science background as a PhD in biology, combined with my current work in business development and outreach at a nonprofit science communication organization, I see the obvious potential to impact marketing and communication strategies within science-centric industries. My Executive MBA will help prepare me to follow my ambition to support the growth and development of biotech companies. My long-term goal is to found a consulting firm serving that specific need.

I have too many hobbies. I love traveling and learning about new cultures. I also do a lot of photography, and I am a “professional” home cook; I enjoy baking the most because it reminds me of my work in the lab. I am a voracious reader, and I love music. Fun fact: I have recently picked up crochet and pizza making from online tutorials.
