Biography at a Glance

Douglas Miller began his role as adjunct professor at the Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management in 2014. His course, Preconstruction Integration and Planning, focuses on the preconstruction phase of facility/real estate development, the different project delivery methods, all from the perspectives of owners/developers, architects and construction managers. The courses focuses on the philosophy of Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) such as CM at Risk and Design– Build.

Miller graduated from Daniels with an MS RECM in June of 2008, and has been in commercial real estate and construction since 2000. His professional role is a Director of Business Development and Preconstruction with a prominent commercial general contractor headquartered in Denver.

Miller thoroughly enjoys his family, guitar, mountain bike and camper when not working or teaching.
