As chief information officer for the city and county of Denver beginning in June 2018, David leads technology services (TS), Denver’s 350-person IT department. TS’s mission is to improve city performance.
Prior to this role, as chief performance officer for the city and county of Denver, David launched Mayor Michael Hancock’s Peak Performance initiative. The Peak Academy has trained individuals from over 300 municipal and state governments, and over 5,000 city employees.
David received an MBA from the University of Virginia and an AB in Economics from the University of Michigan.
