WHY DID YOU CHOOSE DANIELS?

Daniels is a staple name in the Denver community. I grew up going to Pioneer hockey games, and the university’s reputation has always been in the upper echelon. When I decided that I wanted to pursue my MBA, the University of Denver was at the very top of my list. Go Pioneers.

PREVIOUS EDUCATION

Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, Colorado School of Mines; Master of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering, Colorado School of Mines.

PRE-GRAD SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

I’ve worked for nine years as an engineer in a variety of technical and business roles in the energy industry. I also own a small business in additive manufacturing.

POST GRAD SCHOOL GOAL

I’ll be returning to the energy industry, where I can leverage my latest skills in business and finance to grow the next generation of energy company. I’ll be looking for an opportunity that values a business-savvy engineer’s ability to create tangible value in energy asset development.

HOBBIES

I typically train for a marathon or its cycling equivalent once per year, and I’m almost constantly using my 3D printer to invent solutions to problems that I have around the house. Last, but not least, I’m an investor who loves following emerging tech news for the next opportunities.
