Why did you choose Daniels?
Daniels met a number of personal and professional focus areas for me. From a personal perspective, being located in the growing city of Denver with quick access to a myriad of year-round outdoor activities, Daniels provided an opportunity to have a balanced life outside of the classroom. Professionally, I was attracted to the experiential learning through the challenge-based curriculum. As I transitioned from the public to private sector, I knew client-facing opportunities in addition to the standard internship would be advantageous for my growth and career prospects. Additionally, the one-on-one and team-based executive coaching is something I did not see in any other program and knew it would be a great benefit to my professional development. All of these unique reasons have been confirmed through my experience!
Bachelor of Science in Economics, Wofford College
Master of Public Administration, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill
I worked in local government in the St. Paul and Chicago areas. I was involved in budget and performance management, operations management, policy and financial analysis, and process improvement.
I’m looking to go into healthcare or to a science/technology related company in some type of strategy role. I’m using the Denver location and Daniels network to help figure it out more!
I like most of the standard Colorado activities like hiking, camping, skiing, and biking. I also enjoy cooking.
