Biography at a Glance

As a proud member of the Daniels College of Business Advancement team, Director of Development, Amanda Grogan works with Leadership Annual Giving donors, helping to recognize and increase Daniels Dean’s Circle membership, a society that celebrates gifts of $1,000 or more to the Daniels College. Amanda joined the team in 2019.

Prior to DU, she worked in the College of Engineering and Applied Science at CU Boulder as well as the CU System Annual Giving Office. During that time, Amanda oversaw the College of Engineering Dean’s Club, launched #GivingTuesday efforts for the CU System, implemented two calling centers, helped ignite student philanthropy efforts on three campuses and was instrumental in establishing the CU System leadership annual giving program, Torchbearers.

Amanda has a bachelor’s degree in music education degree from Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. While in pursuit of her graduate degree, she found herself at the CU Boulder where she earned a master’s in vocal performance. Amanda is a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and the Colorado Planned Giving Roundtable.

Amanda and her husband, Bill, live in Westminster with their three kids, William, Molly and Evelyn. Amanda enjoys helping her children conquer the world around them, singing whenever she can, serving her church and community, and enjoying good food with good friends and family.
