Daniels College of Business hosts Voices of Experience March 18
The University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business will host Voices of Experience Monday, March 18, at 6 p.m. at the Newman Center for Performing Arts at the University of Denver. Red Robin CEO Denny Marie Post will share about her career journey in management from her history at companies like T-Mobile, Starbucks, Burger King, KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell Canada and more.
Moderated by the director of the Fritz Knoebel School of Hospitality Management, David Corsun, Post will be asked to discuss the state of the restaurant industry, including challenges, opportunities, innovation, disruption and the effects of consumer behavior trends. She will also be asked to talk about her leadership philosophy and what she sees at challenges for female leaders in the restaurant industry.
Post oversees all U.S. and Canadian operations of Red Robin, including overall company direction and communications with investors and the board of directors. She brings to the team more than 35 years of leadership experience in consumer-driven marketing, product innovation and building teams to develop and execute strategies that increase brand awareness and drive sales.
Post is a thought leader in the casual dining industry, currently serving on the Women’s Foodservice Forum board of directors. She is also a director on the boards of Wyndham Destinations and the Denver branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.
Post holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and social sciences from Trinity University.
