Three MBA programs within the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business were ranked by CEO Magazine. CEO Magazine ranked the Denver MBA Tier One, the Executive MBA No. 7 and the online MBA@Denver No. 10. Daniels was the only Colorado school in the ranking. The rankings were released Wednesday, March 20, as part of the magazine’s global survey.

“This is a wonderful honor,” says Pat Perrella, associate dean of MBA programs at Daniels. “We know we’re offering our students an excellent educational experience at Daniels, and it’s nice to see us recognized, especially on a global scale.”

“To be recognized as number 10 of 71 online programs globally, represents a great achievement, given that our program is only in its fifth quarter of operation,” says Carol Johnson, assistant dean of the MBA@Denver program. “We have wonderful faculty and students, which makes for an exceptional experience.”

CEO Magazine has been ranking top business schools from around the globe since it first launched in 2008. This year CEO Magazine reached out to business schools across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the BRICS, and received data from 144 schools, offering 292 different programs in 25 countries (71 online, 91 EMBA and 130 full-time and part-time MBA programs).

The ranking takes into consideration the following data points:

  • Quality of Faculty
  • International Diversity
  • Class Size
  • Accreditation
  • Faculty to Student Ratio
  • Price
  • International Exposure
  • Work Experience
  • Professional Developments
  • Gender Parity
  • Delivery methods
