The competitive Edge is you

The marketplace today is awash in data. However, huge data sets are useless without a trained professional who has the ability to shape raw data into something useful…something powerful.

  • You are part of the decision-making process. You are the savvy professional people turn to for pathways through ambiguity, through perplexing business challenges, for guidance in critical decision-making.
  • You provide leadership. You are an expert at bridging information systems, statistical principles, blended with business acumen. You work with business information and analytics (BIA) professors on cutting-edge research.
  • You are well-connected. As a BIA student, you have a Personal Board of Advisors (as a graduate student)  or a Departmental Advisory Board (as an undergraduate) consisting of leading area professionals. You have the know-how to keep your finger on the pulse of your industry and the network of connections to get projects done.
