Two Daniels College of Business MBA programs ranked in top 100

U.S. News and World Report released its 2021 Best Graduate Schools ranking Tuesday, March 17, placing two MBA programs at the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business in the top 100.

The part-time Professional MBA program is ranked No. 66 in the nation. The full-time Denver MBA program is ranked No. 80 in the nation, up from No. 91 last year.

“We are honored to be named among the best programs in the nation,” says Daniels Dean Vivek Choudhury. “We are dedicated to providing an exceptional management education experience, and it’s wonderful to be recognized by U.S. News for our continued commitment to student success.”

To be eligible for the current part-time ranking, a program needed to be accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business in summer 2019 and have a fall 2019 enrollment of 20 or more students. Of the 291 surveyed part-time MBA programs that were potentially eligible to be ranked, 272 submitted enough to U.S. News to meet those criteria and were included in the ranking. The U.S. News part-time MBA rankings are based on the following five factors:

  • Average peer assessment score (50%)
  • Average GMAT and GRE scores (15%)
  • Average undergraduate GPA (5%)
  • Number of years of work experience (10%)
  • Percentage of fall 2019 enrollment (5%)
