Corporate Partner Spotlight: Noodles & Company
Most know Noodles & Company for its undeniably tasty dishes, from Wisconsin Mac & Cheese to Bangkok Curry. But the Colorado-based company is about more than just fantastic, fresh food. It also partners with a number of organizations in local communities—including the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.
Noodles & Company is a gold-level sponsor in the Daniels Corporate Partners program and supports both the Department of Marketing and the Daniels Tomorrow fund to support the College’s strategic initiatives. Noodles hires Daniels students and participates in College-sponsored career fairs and the Daniels Pioneer Executive Summit in the Rockies. The company also supports the DU Pioneers Hockey team.
“Daniels and the University of Denver have been such fantastic partners to Noodles & Company,” says Reddy, who joined Noodles & Company in 2005 after serving in leadership roles at McDonald’s and Chipotle Mexican Grill. “To sponsor activities Daniels and DU plans in the community and then to see the young people involved in those activities later become part of our Noodles family—whether it be as team members in our restaurants or at our central support office—has been wonderful. Having the opportunity to serve as a member of the Executive Advisory Board for the past several years and having my daughter, Megan, complete her undergraduate and graduate studies at DU, I’ve been able to experience firsthand what a world-class educational institution this is for students. Students not only receive a terrific education, they’re also provided an environment where they can grow as young adults and prepare for the journey that begins after graduation. DU truly raises the bar in education, and showcases Colorado in such an amazing way to people across the United States and abroad.”
Based in Broomfield, Colorado, Noodles & Company started in 1995—a pioneer in the fast-casual dining industry. Since then, the noodlery with a globally-inspired menu has grown to 348 restaurants in 26 states.
In 2012, Reddy was named an All-Star CEO by Restaurant Finance Monitor. The company made its initial public offering on the NASDAQ Global Select Market on June 28, 2013.
