Daniels Teams up with Korbel School to Offer a Certificate in Global Business & Corporate Responsibility
Students seeking master’s degrees at the University of Denver can now add an exciting interdisciplinary certificate to their résumé: the Global Business & Corporate Responsibility certificate.
The certificate is a joint international program offered by the Daniels College of Business and the Josef Korbel School of International Studies. It enables students to better understand the primary issues associated with contemporary global corporate citizenship and use the tool kits available to states, business actors and other governing groups.
Students will study the role of businesses, states and civil societies in fostering corporate social responsibility. They will learn about models of global governance and management strategy and how to apply them to challenges in emerging economies. In addition, students will learn about global business behavior, the impact of international business decisions on business strategy, and more.
The Global Business & Corporate Responsibility certificate is a six-course program. It consists of three core courses (two from Daniels and one from Korbel) and three elective courses—requiring at least one from outside of the student’s primary college.
