Stephen Miller, former CEO of Colorado clean-tech incubator CleanLaunch, was named Thursday as the first senior director of entrepreneurship for the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business.
“Miller will coordinate activities across DU and Daniels to build key partnerships and relationships in the entrepreneurial community, work with faculty and staff to enhance the overall entrepreneurial curriculum, design and launch new entrepreneurship activities, and expand co-curricular programming,” DU said in an announcement.
Miller — a DU alumnus — previously was co-founder of the Rocky Mountain region’s CleanTech Open, a startup business plan competition, and executive director of Denver ventures at CTEK Stapleton, a business incubator for early-stage technology companies, Daniels said.
“Stephen Miller will help Daniels students develop the business acumen required to launch and grow their own successful ventures in the global business environment,” Daniels Dean Christine Riordan said in a statement.
