Daniels College of Business ranks top in Colorado, 52 in the nation
The University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business was ranked No. 52 in the nation for best undergraduate business schools in 2017 by Poets & Quants. The online graduate and undergraduate business education news publication announced its 2017 rankings Dec. 5. Daniels’ ranking is the best of all Colorado business schools and puts the College in the top 1 percent of all AACSB accredited schools. There are 799 business schools in 53 countries and territories that have earned AACSB accreditation.
“We know we have a competitive business education program at the Daniels College of Business,” Daniels Dean E. LaBrent Chrite says. “This ranking accurately reflects our enduring commitment to harnessing the rich capacities of our faculty in order to more effectively prepare our undergraduate students for a marketplace defined by volatility and uncertainty.”
Poets & Quants for Undergrads compiled the 2017 exclusive ranking based on a representative survey of 6,288 recent graduates and school-reported data. Students across the 82 schools were surveyed on aspects of admissions standards, academic experience and employment placement.
“The co-creation of our academic experiences, the intentional development of adaptive skills in addition to students’ technical abilities and a sustained and integrated effort to prepare our students to become immediate value creators are just a few of the characteristics of the program that are reflected in this ranking,” Chrite says.
