Fortune best part-time MBA programs medallionThe Professional MBA is the University of Denver’s part-time MBA program

The Professional MBA is ranked No. 29 in the nation in Fortune Education’s Best Part-Time MBA Programs of 2022-23 ranking. The Professional MBA took the No. 30 spot on last year’s list.

“It’s wonderful to see our Professional MBA moving up Fortune Education’s rankings,” said Vivek Choudhury, dean of the Daniels College of Business. “We’re honored that the publication has also recognized the quality student experience provided by our full-time Denver MBA and online MBA@Denver programs.”

Fortune Education ranked 59 business schools, evaluating them in three areas: the Program Score, Brand Score and Fortune 1000 Score. The publication considered students’ years of work experience, GPAs, GMAT scores and C-suite level job placement, as well as the institution’s notoriety in the business world. The full details of these components can be found on Fortune’s methodology page

The part-time Professional MBA is designed for early- to mid-career professionals wanting to progress in their careers. The 21-month program meets in the evenings so working professionals can continue in their current positions while they look for new career paths or move up in their current organization.

“What sets the Professional MBA apart is its cohort structure,” said Carol Johnson, assistant dean of MBA programs. “At Daniels, students from diverse programs and industries solve problems and take on challenges together. And when they graduate, they emerge with a tight-knit network of peers they can rely on throughout their careers.”
