The Financial Times, a major London-based business newspaper, ranked the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business Executive MBA (EMBA) Program as one of the world’s best. According to the Financial Times 2012 EMBA rankings Daniels is ranked No. 96 globally out of 13,000 business schools worldwide. This is the fifth consecutive year that Daniels has been included in the Financial Times EMBA rankings, now in its tenth year.
Daniels, the sole Colorado school named to the list, joins the London Business School, Wharton, Columbia, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, University of Chicago, Kellogg and Oxford, among others. The highly selective Daniels EMBA program has a rigorous, accelerated 18-month curriculum tailored to working mid-career professionals and strategic decision-makers.
“The five consecutive rankings by the Financial Times confirm what our Executive MBA graduates tell us,” said Christine Riordan, Dean of the Daniels College of Business. “Our EMBA program competes successfully on a global platform. It combines rigorous academics, a focus on ethical leadership, and hands-on immersive learning on the big issues facing our world society. Our students also gain a powerful world-wide network of fellow students, companies, alumni and faculty.”
Announced each year in October, the Financial Times ranking is compiled using data from two sets of surveys; one is completed by alumni who graduated in 2007 from the respective programs and the other by the business school EMBA directors. The methodology measures salary and career progression, diversity and faculty research.
