If you haven’t heard of FullContact, you might have heard of Lorang’s idea of paying his employees to go on vacation. His company received national attention for his policy of giving employees $7,500 on top of their salary to go on vacation if they completely unplug and don’t work at all on their vacation – no checking emails, texts or taking phone calls.

Lynnea Louison (MBA 2001), director of operations at the Boettcher Foundation was named the Alumni Ambassador Awardee. That award is presented to an individual who demonstrates a commitment to Daniels’ vision and purpose, provides service and time to benefit the College and its students, and is a living example of Daniels’ ethical standards.
