Madden Challenge Fall 2021

**Join the live-stream here. Streaming will start promptly at 7:30 PM**

Entrepreneurship@DU invites you to join us for the Fall 2021 Madden Challenge.

“Fourth Industrial Revolution” Pitch Competition

30 student teams will present their startups in a “science fair” layout. Guests and judges walk around the room, learning about these ventures straight from Madden Challenge competitors. Food and beverages will be available for all attendees!

Students are adjudicated by successful entrepreneurs, angel investors, and past Madden Challenge winners. Of the 30 teams, judges will select 5 and the audience will select 1 to advance to the final round. These final 6 ventures will present a polished pitch to the crowd, with the top 3 teams taking home a cash prize.

BUS 1440: “The Fourth Industrial Revolution” students are eligible to compete. Attendance to the Madden Challenge is open to the entire DU community. We hope you will join us!

The Madden Challenge is part of the Fourth Industrial Revolution course, an introductory class required for business majors that builds foundational knowledge in business and entrepreneurship. The course introduces students to current technologies and requires them to use innovation and creativity to create a comprehensive business plan and a go-to-market strategy. Many students have the opportunity to convert their ideas into actual prototypes using artificial intelligence, 3D printing, blockchain, crypto currency and more.

During the Madden Challenge, student teams pitch their business venture in front of an audience of more than 100 people. A panel of successful entrepreneurs, angel investors and business experts from the Denver business and DU alumni community act as judges.  Teams compete for a chance to win Best Sales Pitch, Most Disruptive and Overall Winner prizes
