Entrepreneurship@DU Startup Costs & Forecasting Workshop

Entrepreneurship@DU invites you to join us for a fun and engaging workshop featuring Daniel Cohen, Entrepreneur, Early Stage Investor, Advisor and Adjunct Professor at the Daniels College of Business.

Startup Costs & Forecasting

A budget is a critical roadmap for a new business, it helps forecast revenue and expenses and identify how much cash is required to start the business and how long you can run the business before you make a profit. Identifying costs and forecasting revenue can be intimidating when developing a budget for your startup.

Join this hands-on workshop to learn how to create a day one budget for your business. We will discuss revenue, fixed and variable expenses, and profit and identify ways to lower your expenses. We will touch on why budgets are important to investors and banks and the metrics they use to evaluate budgets for new businesses.

Wednesday, April 20th 5:30-7:30 PM @ The Garage
This Workshop is ONLY open to 18 students, so register ASAP to save your spot!
*OPEN TO DU STUDENTS ACROSS ALL LEVELS AND DISCIPLINES*
