ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Jessie, a Colorado native, is the founder and managing partner of StudioIP. With over a decade of experience, at StudioIP she focuses on advising clients in acquiring, identifying, developing, protecting or enforcing intellectual property, and facilitates the prosecution of trademarks, copyrights and patents. Jessie negotiates and drafts technology transactions, including intellectual property agreements, licenses, terms of service and privacy policies in several industries including media, software, consumer products, automotive, construction and entertainment. She initiates take downs for DMCA violations and product infringement to counteract bad actors and counterfeit products. For the start-up community looking to retain funding or be attractive to purchasers, she also performs due diligence, and finally, but not least represents clients in litigious matters involving intellectual property as well.
In recognition of Jessie’s ability to serve her clients as a trusted advisor, Colorado Super Lawyers Magazine recognized Jessie as one of its Rising Stars for the past 7 years and she was recently recognized as a 5280 Top Lawyer. When not working for clients, or on the business, Jessie enjoys time with her husband and 3 daughters in the great outdoors.
