The search for the 16th dean of the Daniels College of Business is progressing ahead of schedule. The search committee reports that hundreds of applicants from around the world applied to become Daniels next dean. First-round candidates were interviewed in November and five candidates from that pool visited campus in January for in-person interviews. The five candidates represent a diverse group of individuals, with experience in both public and private universities, and with a variety of disciplines and backgrounds. The candidates each met with faculty and staff for separate Q&A sessions, and had the opportunity to present their vision as dean to the Daniels and DU community.

In addition to meeting with Daniels faculty and staff, all candidates met with the Chancellor, Provost, DU Director of Human Resources, Search Committee chair and members, members of the Board of Trustees, DU Vice Chancellors and Senior Staff, DU Administrative Council, DU Deans, DU Inclusive Excellence leaders and groups, Daniels Executive Advisory Board, Daniels Dean Team, and Daniels graduate and undergraduate students.

Daniels will continue to provide updates to the search as the process continues.
