The Daniels College of Business and Project X-ITE hosts three events at Startup Week
Denver Startup Week is a summit of entrepreneurial energy where the local community gathers to be inspired by fellow developers, designers, marketers, makers and founders in the field held Sept. 12-16 in downtown Denver. The Daniels College of Business and Project X-ITE at the University of Denver will host three events at Denver Startup Week, bringing entrepreneurs from Israel, known as the Startup Nation, to Denver.
“Israel is known for their entrepreneurial history. The country has become a wonderful hub for creativity and commerce,” says Daniels Professor Kerry Plemmons. “Daniels has a rich history of taking students to Israel to learn from their innovators. We hope to share that spirit with the Denver community.”
Israeli entrepreneurs who are flying in for Startup Week include Ben Weiner of Jumpspeed Ventures, Roy Munin of Made in JLM, Yoram Dahan creator of the Cal-Israel Innovation Expo, Sarah Prostak of Israel Investment Advisors, Gili Elkin of Syntech Bioenergy and Oded Distel, the head of Israel’s New Tech Program.
The speakers will join speakers from Colorado to shed light in the areas of their expertise.
