So when the opportunity to sponsor the second annual Daniels Digital Marketing Summit in 2013 arose, 9News, a Gannett company, did not hesitate. The Digital Marketing Summit—presented by the Department of Marketing at Daniels—is a one-day seminar open to business professionals that features leaders in digital marketing and branding. In addition to numerous expert speakers, the program features an afternoon case competition, wherein participants can apply what they learn to solve a digital marketing case for one of 30 businesses and nonprofits. Participating businesses at the 2013 Summit all received a digital audit developed by 9News.

On October 17, 2014, Daniels will host the third annual Digital Marketing Summit, this time with two tracks: fundamentals and advanced. Once again, 9News is the presenting sponsor and Joseph Lazzaro, Director of Digital at Gannett, joins us as the keynote speaker and will tie the morning sessions together with a discussion on the impact of digital marketing on business.
