Daniels College of Business hosts Voices of Experience miniseries
The University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business will host a Voices of Experience miniseries, inviting three CEOs to discuss how COVID-19 has affected their industries and challenged them as leaders.
Voices of Experience: Lessons on Crisis Leadership will consist of virtual one-on-one discussions with CEOs in three industries—real estate, health care and travel/hospitality. They are:
- CEO Adam Contos, RE/MAX: Wednesday, May 13 at Noon MDT
- CEO Sean Menke, Sabre: Thursday, May 21 at Noon MDT
- Chief People Officer Amy King, Centura Health: Tuesday, May 26 at Noon MDT
CEO of RE/MAX Holdings, Inc. Adam Contos will discuss leadership and brand-building during a pandemic. As CEO, Contos leads a global franchise network of more than 130,000 real estate agents in over 110 countries and territories, making his perspective on this global crisis relevant and timely. Contos is passionate about leadership, communications, and the importance of being authentic and present.
Sabre Corporation is the leading software and technology company that powers the global travel industry, serving a wide range of travel companies including airlines, hoteliers, travel agencies and other suppliers. Through its leading travel marketplace, Sabre connects travel suppliers with buyers from around the globe. The impact of COVID-19 on the industry has been unprecedented. Sabre CEO Sean Menke will discuss his approach to leadership, communications and crisis management during this time.
Vivek Choudhury, dean of the Daniels College of Business, will moderate with 45-minute discussions with Contos and Menke.
Chief People Officer Amy King will discuss the effects of COVID-19 on her teams at Centura Health during this facilitated discussion with Daniels Professor of the Practice Kerry Plemmons.
