Ali takes advantages of the opportunities offered at Daniels by networking at Daniels events. She loves the professors and their willingness to go beyond the call of duty to help students. Ali participated in Leading at the Edge weekend, which she says was an experience to remember. She recalls learning leadership skills and how to work in a group as everyone faced their own fears while helping one another succeed together.

Christine enjoyed the many guest speakers that came to the Daniels campus through the Voices of Experience speaker series, Lunch and Learn, consulting panel, and other speaker-driven events. She felt that exposure to CEOs, CFOs and well-known leaders of the community shaped her involvement at Daniels giving her the opportunity for true experiential-learning.

Roy came to the United States from South Africa with a passion to study Accounting. With the help of scholarships he decided to come to Daniels. He wants to finish his Masters of Accountancy from Daniels and move to New York to work for a few years and possibly start his own business. Roy is true Daniels Pioneer with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Rashid just started his first quarter at Daniels and was shocked by how many chances there were for him to get involved on a personal and holistic level. Rashid enjoys the classes he is taking and can’t wait to keep moving further into the year. Rashid was challenged at Leading at the Edge weekend but walked away from the experience feeling more prepared for his MBA program. He feels that the weekend was a unique advantage that Daniels offers its students to really challenge them to their core.

Jackelyn attributes her ability to attend Daniels due to an array of scholarships providing by giving hearts. As a transfer student, Jackelyn sees the difference in the level of education she has obtained as well as the opportunities that are at the fingertips for every student. She has enjoyed many speakers on campus, which she feels are wonderful in allowing students to stand in the shoes of well-known business leaders and learn applicable real life lessons.
