Some of the country’s top financial minds are in Denver for a very unique town hall meeting. The debate is Friday night at the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.

The town hall is about “restoring fiscal responsibility” and it’s a warm-up for the presidential debate on the University of Denver campus on Oct. 3rd.

DU Alumna Sheila Weinberg is the founder and CEO of The Institute For Truth In Accounting. She spoke to 9NEWS Friday morning.

The Institute for Truth in Accounting serves as a watchdog for the federal debt.

“They’ll be talking about the trillions of dollars that the country is in debt and some possible solutions,” Weinberg said.
