One of the perks of living in Denver is the fact that we have so many professional sports teams. Denver is the proud home of the Broncos (football), the Nuggets (basketball), the Avalanche (hockey), the Rapids (soccer), the Rockies (baseball), and the Mammoth (lacrosse).
The light rail, which goes directly from the University of Denver to Mile High Stadium (Broncos) and the Pepsi Center (Nuggets and Avalanche), means you won’t spend more time in traffic than you will spend at the game!
DU’s Driscoll Student Center, which offers free and very cheap ($5 to $20) tickets to various local attractions, sometimes has very low-price tickets available for games (e.g., Nuggets tickets for $10), so make sure to check it out when you’re looking for tickets!
